The kindergarten wing of Viswam School celebrated Red Day on 29/06/26 with great enthusiasm and joy. The aim was to introduce our tiny tots to the colour red and its significance through fun activities.
The kindergarten campus and bulletin boards were decorated with red balloons, pictures and streamers. Children and teachers came dressed in vibrant red attire, creating a lively atmosphere. Students brought red objects like apples, strawberries, tomatoes and toys.
Engaging activities like red hand-printing, paper-tearing, and colouring of red objects helped enhance their fine motor skills. Teachers explained that red symbolises love, energy, and is seen in nature and daily life — in flowers, fruits, and traffic signals.
It was a joyful learning experience that helped children identify and appreciate the colour red.
